We were briefed to re-design the existing packaging for Loupedeck CT. The aim was to optimise costs and improve the sustainability, whilst retaining the same visual look and high quality feel.
We re-designed the packaging solution so that the overall look and feel of the packaging remained the same. Plastics were reduced by 84%, and packaging weight was reduced by 17.5%. The new solution was verified through a pre-production series and transportation tests prior to starting mass-production. Through this design update and Taitos’s sourcing activities, the cost of packaging was reduced by 57%.
